Kitchen Renovation
Heat Recovery Ventilation or otherwise called Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) is a
form of continuously operating, balanced ventilation, providing the same amount of fresh air into a
building, as it extracts stale air out of the building. It passively recovers almost all the heat from
the outgoing air into the fresh incoming air. This means maximising energy for minimum cost and
cleaner air for you and your family.
Bathroom Renovation
Let us modernise your bathroom with some stylish and functional fixtures and fittings. Various styles
of tiles in any coluor you want brings the most out of any size bathroom. We renovate and install good
quality bathrooms from start to finish. We begin by stripping out your old bathroom, install a new
waterproof board, tanking, tiles, installing your bathroom suite.
Home Energy Update
We want to help you save energy and money, make your home healthier and
comfortable, and make your home more environmentally conservative by adopting energy-efficient
solutions.
In Ireland, a Building Energy Rating (BER) certificate indicates your home's energy performance on a
standardised national scale ranging from A-G, with each grade consisting of separate compliance
guidelines. At Anthony Lee Formwork we are committed to upgrading your home to an A / B grade. While
some home upgrades may be initially expensive, the long-term benefits will be worth it when your
potential energy savings are calculated.
1. Heat Recovery Ventilation
2. Air Tightness Test
An airtightness test determines the level of uncontrolled air flow through gaps or cracks in the
fabric of a building. Too much air leakage leads to unnecessary heat loss and can lead to discomfort
for the occupants through cold draughts. Many property owners get their buildings tested for
airtightness to reduce their environmental impact, save money on energy bills and decrease energy
waste.
3. External Wall Insulation
External wall insulation is the most comprehensive and cost effective way of insulating your home
against the cold. This type of insulation is fixed to the exterior of your house. As it is fixed to
the outside of your house, it does not affect the size of your living space. The process typically
involves a layer of rigid insulation material on the walls and embedding a mesh into it for extra
strength.
4. Solar PV
Energy harnessed through solar panels can then be used to provide electricity for residential homes
and businesses across the country. Our team will view the property and determine the best plan of
action and our experts will install the panels with no hassle.
5. Underfloor Heating System
Underfloor Heating involves the installation of a system of pipes/wires and our team are
experienced in both buried and surface mounted installations, we are happy to provide advice
if you are unsure which system is best for your needs. Our underfloor heating systems will create
a cozy environment with no hot or cold draughts throughout your home. UFH also runs at a lower
temperature than radiators meaning in the long run you will be saving money thanks to its
energy efficiency.
6. Air to Water Heating System
Air to water heat pumps take heat from the outside air and transfer it to a water-based
system. The created heat can be used for space heating where heat will be distributed
through your radiators and underfloor heating systems, or as a hot water supply for the
house. They are also very compact and will not take up too much space on your property and
our team of experts can install them with no hassle.
